The Novosibirsk State Art Museum has been founded in 1958 as a traditional collection of classical and modern Russian art, supplemented by a section of foreign art. It was based on pieces of art received from the funds of the USSR Ministry of Culture, from storerooms of The State Tretyakov Gallery, The State Russian Museum, The Hermitage, The Pushkin Museum, The Pavlovsk Palace Museum and other collections.

Annually, the Novosibirsk State Art Museum exhibits about 80 exhibitions of classical and contemporary art from Russian and foreign museums, corporate and private collections,  workshops of authors from all over the world. It is one of the most attractive centers of artistic life in Siberia.

The museum today is changing and evolving. Thus it required a new image that would represent it and make it more open to the public.

The new logo looks like "H" — Russian letter "N" (states for Novosibirsk), and at the same time it refers to the shape of the museum's building (top view). It is not only a symbol. It is a window to the beautiful world of art.

The museum today is not only its exposition and exhibitions. It's a modern space for many kinds of activities and events. Science conferences and symposiums, workshops and classes for children, fests and musical concerts, and a lot more. These events required additional branding modifications, so we have enriched the main style with 3 additional styles. They complement the main logo but allow the museum to be modern and agile, giving it more opportunities.

Children line is more playful and bright. This style has additional colors and shapes, making it more interesting for kids.

Bright colors are not permanent. They can vary depending on the works or pieces of art they are used with, and can be picked individually for each project or event.

And the last style is to be used for all events and activities, that are not covered by previous styles.
